Is Drop Shipping a Realistic Way to Make Money Online?
Drop shipping, for those who are unfamiliar with it, is a system whereby you promote the products of a particular manufacturer, take orders directly, and the manufacturer/source handles all the inventory and fulfillment functions for you.
In a nutshell, here is the drop-ship system:
==> You generate and accept the order.
==> You take your profits out of the sale price.
==> You forward the order and the wholesale cost to the drop shipper.
==> The source factory ships directly to your customer.
The benefits of this arrangement are probably obvious: No inventory cost to you.
* Substantially higher profits to you over what most regular affiliate programs allow.
* The ability to quickly set-up inexpensive, highly targeted, niche or mini-sites to test and promote diverse products.
This process has been around for years and has been responsible for many highly successful mail order dealer relationships in the past. Many of the top catalogers and other direct response marketers, have been using this system to increase profits for decades. If you have ever ordered a high priced item from a mail order catalog and been told that the product was being shipped from the factory... then you have experienced drop shipping first hand.
Drop shipping is, I believe, a virgin un-tapped storehouse of profits for todays internet marketer.
On-line directories exist which reveal essential contact information for drop shippers of over 2,000,000 products and 4,000 brands. Most legitimate drop ship sources will require that you have a state tax reseller number in order to approve you to sell their products and give you the wholesale pricing you are looking for.

These are generally organizations which make their money selling "drop ship licenses"... and are, for the most part, scams. Legitimate drop shippers and factory sources never charge you any fees other than the actual shipping costs of the products you sell.
Another caveat... always make sure that you have a written agreement with the source factory that you own the customer! The factory or drop ship source should agree in writing not to solicit your customers in any form. This is very important to you. Your customer list is one of your most important assets. If the factory you are dealing with balks at this request... use another source who will agree.
Almost every conceivable type of product is available from a drop shipper willing to ship products in single units under your companies name. Pick your interest area... electronics, consumer products, agricultural & industrial products, office equipment & supplies, hobby gear, recreational / sporting goods, clothing, furniture, etc. The list of available products from drop shippers is almost endless.
The products actual source is invisible to the consumer. The seller (you) is able to build a database of customers that he/she owns and controls (by agreement with the manufacturer) and has all the direct marketing advantages that accompany that arrangement... while eliminating the need for maintaining expensive inventory.
This arrangement offers maximum flexibility and cost savings for the seller. If a product does not sell well online you can pull the advertising (web page or mini-site) instantly with very little cost to you outside of the actual time it took to build and test the web marketing effort. Or, since this type of page/mini-site is so inexpensive to maintain and host... you can simply leave the pages online and take whatever orders trickle through... while you move on to the testing and promotion of new drop ship products.
The manufacturer benefits from this relationship by gaining a legion of active marketers promoting their products... at little or no cost (other than those small costs involved with supporting the marketer with online marketing materials like product images, sales materials, etc).
As a marketer you are looking for several key components in developing the drop-ship relationship with a source factory or distributor:
* High Quality Products
* Blanket Product Liability Insurance (if applicable)
* A clear guarantee and return policy
* High Quality Marketing Materials ... product images (gifs, jpegs, etc.), selling copy, other suitable web graphics, etc.
* A Customer Service Department that will work with you to develop the best selling situation for you.
If you are a manufacturer seeking to expand distribution (or an inventor with a new product ) you will find the willingness to drop ship in single units will give you a strong competitive edge while you carve out increased market share at little cost.
If you are an online marketer interested in offering high profit products to your niche market (your website visitors) without incurring high front-end development or inventory costs... then drop shipping is for you.

Make Extra Money - Six Unusual Ways
I was young and wanted some way to make extra money - something other than another fast food job. A friend of the family owned a small insurance agency. The owner decided to get into the business of process serving, and I applied for the job. Tracking people down and handing them their court subpoenas sounded like fun.
It was more interesting than most of the jobs I have had. I had to find two defendants in a lawsuit stemming from a school football injury (they worked for the school). Both had moved to the area, leaving no forwarding address. After using my best phone pretexts to get information from the family, and doing a little investigating locally, I found them both working in the same place.
I walked up to each, asked their name and handed them the papers. They were served. The problem was that the company was billing by the hour, and I had found these two quickly, meaning little profit. They dropped the idea for the new service, and dropped my job along with it. So much for getting ahead by doing a good job.
I had a wide variety of unusual jobs and other ways to make extra money when I was younger. Sitting here reminiscing at the keyboard might be considered an unusual way to make money too, but hey, it works. Here are some of the other ways.
Make Extra Money By...
Stealing cars: At twenty-one I was willing to try almost anything to make extra money. My brother's towing business got a contract to repossess cars, and I became a "repo man." Prowling the night with my brother, looking for and legally "stealing" cars - this was fun. Don't expect to make too much money doing this though, unless you live in the right area. Oh, and it did involve getting chased, having a gun pulled on us, and other little adventures.
Making walking sticks: I sold hundreds of my own handmade walking stick alongside our other items at flea markets. I added handgrips made from recycled leather jackets, so they cost about 50 cents to make. I sold them for anywhere between $6 to $26. You may also want to make a hobby into a way to make money, but there isn't too much money involved most of the time.
Financing other peoples plans. I put up the cash to buy cars for a couple friends. They knew cars, I had cash. A friend needed $3200 to buy and fix a corvette, for example, and two weeks later sold it for $4200, netting us $500 profit each. Letting your money do the work to make extra money - this is one of the best ways.
Rent rooms. At one point I had almost $10,000 per year coming in from renting the rooms in my home. I owed nothing on the home at this point, so this was a nice income. I had decent renters, and I had built a efficiency apartment on the back of the place for privacy for my wife and I. Easy ways like this are my favorite ways to make extra money.

How to Make Money Writing Online and Content Marketing
Article writers using content marketing often overlook content readability when composing their articles. Writing articles online for money must not only consider motivating readers to buy a product. To make money writing online, authors must also provide readable quality content.
With the advent of Google's stated goal to improve a user's search experience, many websites and articles lost their coveted positions in Search Engine Ranking Positions (SERPs). It is now, more than ever, that quality website content writing is king. Writing online for money as a means of 'gaming' the search engines through keyword stuffing, article blasts to thousands of article directories, and weak, poorly structured website content writing are gone.
Readability
Readability measures the grade level needed to understand any document. There are several schemes that are used to determine readability. The Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level is one of better known and most used measurements. Your content writing can be much improved if you incorporate this measure into your article writing.
Although it has come under criticism for its simplicity, Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level scale is still widely used and can give you an idea of your article's readability.
You can determine your article's readability with the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level scale which assigns a grade level to the written material. MS Word provides a readability statistics feature found under the spell check tab that determines your article's grade level reading score.
There are free utilities on the web that allow you to copy and paste your document and the utility will return the grade level score. There are others. Online-Utitility.org is one. You can find them with a 'free readability tools' search on the internet.
You can also use the Google 'more search tools' feature found at the bottom of the left navigation bar when doing a Google search and choosing 'reading level'. The organic results will show 'basic', 'intermediate', or 'advanced' reading levels for each of the page results.
Although, the results may not be 100% accurate, they do give you an idea of the grade level that your article or page is written at. It may seem that I am putting much emphasis on readability and quality content. It is important to note when writing for the web that the content be easily understandable by your targeted reader. You make make money writing articles online by targeting your reader.
Ideal Reading Level
If you dumb down your website content writing, the reader may feel insulted and dismiss your words. If your words are too pedantic, readers may accuse you of flaunting your knowledge. You may have quality content, but not readable by your targeted audience.
What is the ideal reading grade level? The answer eludes me. Many claim that the national average reading level is eighth grade and that article writers should write at that level or lower when writing for the web. I have yet to find any evidence to substantiate that claim or that you will make money writing to that grade level.
Studies have been conducted by various governmental agencies under the U.S. Department of Education and by independent private agencies on various aspects of literacy throughout the United States, but I have yet to find any authoritative data that specifically identifies the national reading average to be at the eighth grade level.
Adult Literacy in America
The study most often cited as the source of the eighth grade reading level claim is a 1993 study, Adult Literacy in America: A First Look at the Results of the National Adult Literacy Survey, by Irwin S. Kirsch, sponsored by the National Center for Education Statistics. You can review the results yourself at the National Center for Education Statistics.
However, the study does not specifically state that the national reading level average is at the eighth grade level. In fact, the study's committee "… agreed that expressing the literacy proficiencies of adults in school-based terms or grade-level scores is inappropriate."
The study did survey levels of literacy skills ranging from Level 1 to Level 5, with Level 5 being the most difficult or the highest skill level. The survey did show that about half the population performed at levels 3-5 and half performed within the lower levels 1 and 2.
SERPs and Readability
Nevertheless, if we accept the various reading level scales like, Flesch-Kincaid, article writers can improve their content marketing to more closely match the acceptance of targeted readers. In addition, Google and other search engines may or may not look favorably on the webpage or article and rank it higher than one that Google deems to be written at an inappropriate level as evidenced by the Official Google Blog
For instance, an article written at the twelfth grade level about building a tool shed may not be looked upon as worthy of Google's definition of maximizing the user search experience. An article on the same subject written at the sixth or seventh grade level might well fair much better in the SERPs.
On the other hand, writing an article on the Literacy Statistics of Migrant Workers at the fourth or fifth grade level would not fare well with academic readers and probably not with the search engines.
The point is that article writers should consider readability when writing articles. The effort does not need to be an all consuming effort. Readability can easily be checked with one of the tools I mentioned earlier.
Be aware of the end user. The more you comply with Google's goal of "providing the best user experience possible," the more favorably the search engine will rank your writing for money efforts.

Revealed, You Need a US Bank Account to Make Money Online!
Yes, it has been revealed, that you need a US Bank account to make and retain money online. No matter where you live, if you are going to make any amount of money online and be able to retain or save same, you need to have a US bank account.
We all have Bank accounts in our respective home countries or residences. No problem with that - it is easy to get. We need this to run our lives, do our day to day activities off-line and so on. It is no big deal or a problem. So it is until I got online to make money two years ago.
When you get online and try to make money, then you realize that the rule of the game will change for you. Suddenly you will realize that you need a US Bank account with a Bank over there in the US. Why? Because 80%-90% of the Internet businesses is controlled by people in US / Canada. That is the way it is for now and in the foreseeable future. And I doubt if the equation is ever going to change at all.
When you want to make money online, in most cases the buyer will be a US native who is either using PayPal or a Credit card to pay for things online. You have got to hook up with PayPal by opening an account with them to receive your payments from other PayPal users. But PayPal only allows people from about 50 countries of the world to use her services. In other words, you can not open an account with them if you are not from these 48-50 countries. Then you realize you are stuck.
What is the alternative if this is your situation? Get a Merchant account or a third party payment processor to take credit and debit cards payments for you. From our earlier equation, 80%-90% of the time, the guys will be in the US. When it is time for the card company to transfer your money to you less their charges, you are going to receive a check which might take 2-4 weeks to get to you, depending on your location. You get the check, assuming you are lucky it did not get lost in transit, and deposit the same with your Bank in your home country. Your bank sends the check for collection in US - another 2-4 weeks. In US, your funds get cleared in 2-3 business days. Then you get your credit. Now your Bank will charge you about $25 - $45 for the check: remember they have to pay DHL / FedEx to transport your check along with other documents, plus they are in business. Get it?
Now for all they care, your check may be for an amount of between $100 to $200, especially if you are just starting out. If you get 10 - 20 checks in a year (yes you can be getting many checks from various affiliate programs) you might find yourself paying $250 - $900 for the year.
Now compare yourself with someone with a US Bank account. He gets paid by what they call ACH (Automated Clearing House) system. This is just an electronic fund transfer system initiated by individual account owners in US to pay others within a network of some banks in US / Canada. This takes just 2-3 days and bang, your money is in your US bank account. It is mostly free to go. In some case you pay a token. I pay $3 to receive ACH into my US Bank account. I live in Africa and I have access to my funds by use of the Card issued to me by the US bank. I can withdraw money daily at the ATM in my country, no problem! My problem is to make the money go into my US bank account:-
Also I can use my Card to buy things online, a privilege not enjoyed by many especially in the developing and under-developed countries.
Now you can see that it is a must for you to have a US bank account if you want to make and retain money from the Internet. But getting one is one of your greatest nightmare as a non-resident.
A non-resident refers to the non-US citizens, having no residential base in the country. It is generally put in to the use by the country's banking sector.
The banking laws as it concerns a non-resident is very strict. It is almost impossible if you do not know how to go about it. The thing is complex and complicated and most Banks will just avoid doing this for non-residents. For them it is a mine field which only a few have mastered. I spent 4 years researching this after I found myself in the above situation earlier mentioned. In my case I even had money trapped with PayPal, after opening my account in PayPal with a US mailing address (perfectly legal).
Now let us look briefly at how you can set up a US Bank account as non-resident of US.
First option is that you set up a company, incorporate one and have an office presence in the United States. Very expensive option you know. How many of us can afford this?
Second option is have someone do it for you for a fee ranging from $400-$800. Expensive also.
Third option is buy the info. They are a few good Reports that will show you how to do this by yourself. The price for the Reports ranges from $20 - $97. This was the option that I used to get my own US bank account.
Whichever option that you decide to follow is entirely up to you.
You can do some searching at a place like Google.
You could pay for the information or get a company or someone to do it for you at a fee. It depends on you and your pocket.
You need not to incorporate a US Company before you can get a US Bank account. That is an expensive approach.
So go ahead and get your own US Bank account now. Do not wait until tomorrow as the laws are constantly changing. What is possible today may not be possible tomorrow. ACT fast. Good Luck.
Can You Really Make Money with Surf for Cash Programs?
This article will focus on the Spedia Surf for Cash Program.
I first came across spedia.net from my Alexa Toolbar as a result of visiting another non related site. I was looking for programs to promote and spedia sounded good on the outside and I almost signed up in order to refer others into the program.
It all sounded too good to be true. The 5 level deep payout structure would ensure a decent income after some heavy promoting but my intuition told me to do a quick search for the term "spedia scam" and see if there was any negative spedia information around. The results speak for themselves.
An abundance of warnings and people's negative experiences with spedia. The most common complaints seem to be that they don't pay. Other complains include system crashes and spam if you cancel your account.
The Spedia Terms of Service
The Spedia Terms of Service can be found at http://www.spedia.net/sp_h_p_terms_of_service.htm. You must agree to these terms in order to participate in the Spedia Surf for Cash Program. It is a very interesting page. Especially clause #16 whereby you agree not to participate in a Class Action Law Suit against Spedia but you are "allowed" to make a claim as an individual.
Personally, I cannot see any one person taking Spedia to court for 30 bucks which they did not pay. If you cannot participate in a Class Action whereby thousands of individuals can make a claim with one court case and with one attorney, what chance have you got to get your money?
Spedia and Surf+ Scumware
It seems that by downloading and installing the spediabar, you are also installing a Scumware program called Surf+. This is not a good thing. The Surf+ Scumware has the ability to change plain text words on any web page into hyperlinks. Certain Spyware and Scumware programs will require special attention to be removed from your system because they cannot be removed by the regular add/remove programs method. A Better Way to make money Online
It seems that even IF you find a legitimate Surf for Cash program, it will take ages to get even a $30 payout. I still think it is much easier to sell either your own products or other people's products and services via an affiliate program. To do this you will need your own website, register your own domain name, select a web hosting company and learn how to get traffic to your site.
Are You Wasting Time
It's time to ask yourself, "Am I wasting time on the Internet?" and "Does it really serve me to do what I am doing?".
If we are doing the same old things and not getting the desired results, it may be time to shift our thinking and open up to new ideas, or do some of the stuff we know we "should" do but have been to lazy to do it.

7 Tips in turning your best friend into your girlfriend
Yes, it's not an overnight task to find your only best friend, that you've considered as part of your life already. She is always there no matter how worst the situation is and how bad your mood is. The surveys that do offer cash initially would more than often enough claim that you did not quality for the cash after you filled out the survey and may then offer you points towards prizes and such.
Just about now you would be wondering why you had to fill out the demographic data if they were not going to send you qualified surveys. That question would soon be answered when your telephone starts ringing off the hook with sales calls conveniently geared towards you and your lifestyle, along with your junk mail intake going through the roof.
Another heavily promoted scam is data entry jobs. The technique itself is not the scam but more the language used to promote it. These are promoted as get rich by doing simple data entry; this is far from the truth. These Data Entry Jobs are simply affiliate programs, you are told to write ads promoting various products and services in hopes of getting a commission from any possible sales. This has gotten so bad that Google among other payment providers have been actively canceling owners and promoters of so called "data entry jobs" from their system.

Well it's unfortunate that thousands of people who are looking for ways to make extra income in this tough economy get scammed and lose what little they have in hopes of creating a successful home based business. I was unemployed at the time and after a few months trying to "make" it online and not really seeing the results I wanted, I was starting to feel the pinch. I was also starting to get pretty discouraged. I certainly didn't want to go back into the 9-5 daily grind again.

Did you know that there are literally thousands of internet marketers who need articles written for them ?
When I was starting out with my first sites, my goal was to make enough money online to be able to afford a good ghost writer
to take care of the most difficult and time consuming part of the job. Believe me, it is really difficult to get a good writer for a

Now as I said, I was short on cash and needed to make some quick money somehow. So I decided as a short term way of making extra cash, was to start offering my services as a ghost writer to other internet marketers.
I made an extra $1000.00 in my first month doing this.
All I did was advertise for myself in the internet marketing forums. I simply created a post in the "For Hire" or "Special Offers"
sections in all the most popular internet marketing forums I could find.
I couldn't believe the response I got! Within about a week I had too much work! I had to turn down requests because I was swamped. I simply created a Pay Pal account and charged 10.00 per article. I was writing up to 8-10 articles a day in some cases. So as you can see, I was actually starting to make money working from home using the internet. I would have never thought I would be making money this way.
The message here is that you can do it too. All you really need is a very good command of the English language. You don't even have to know anything about the topic either. All you have to do when a client gives you some keywords to write articles about, is to do a Google search for that keyword and grab articles that are already written on the topic. Then you simply re spin them in your own words and that's it. Believe me it is really not that hard.
Now I don't do this as much since I am finally able to make a decent passive income online, but this is what helped me bridge the gap when I needed to. Unless you absolutely love writing, you can do this on and off, or on your spare time to make some extra cash. As long as you do a good job , you will have repeat customers.

Instead, take your time and bring the weight down in a controlled motion and try to really feel the burning in your chest muscle as you lower the weight thus stretching and really targeting your chest muscles as a result.
Remember, it’s not quantity but quality. Think about it, you could lift 30 pounds ten times with poor form or 30 pounds six times with proper form, and you would notice much better results with the latter example
So don’t cheat yourself out of building the massive chest you desire by cheating on your negatives – this is when much of the pressure is being put on your muscles, so don’t “wimp out”.

So then they show you a list of all the brand name products that they carry and that will supposedly "sell themselves". Sounds like a no brainer right? Well what they fail to mention is that all their brand name electronics are actually refurbished. I don't know about you but I've always thought of refurbished products as the kiss of death for an online retailer. If I'm searching for something to buy and I come across a store with refurbished products I'm outta there instantly.
They also don't let you see the so called "wholesale" prices until you've actually paid for the store. When you see their wholesale prices - which are the minimum you'll have to sell the products for - you realize that they're actually just as high, if not higher, than retail. How can you make any money if someone can just go to Amazon.com and get your products for less? And trust me - you're definitely not going to be able to sell them on e-bay which is one of the most highly competitive markets in the world.
They also offer to give you a commission if you sell their crappy store to some other poor sucker. You see, they never really wanted you to sell any of their merchandise in the first place - they just wanted to sell you the store. If you sold the merchandise they'd have to do a lot more work actually packing and shipping stuff. The only way to make any money is by helping them sell their store to other unsuspecting victims. All I wanted to do was to make an honest living with an e-commerce store - not get involved in some disguised pyramid or multi-level marketing scheme. And of course when you finally wise up and send them an e-mail, guess what - no response. When I realized they didn't have a money-back guarantee I really started to feel stupid.
There's really not much you can do in a situation like this. Technically they did give you what you paid for - a website prestocked with merchandise. It's just completely useless because you can't sell any of it. These jokers are treading a fine line here and managing to stay just this side of legal. They deliver just enough to keep from being shut down or forced to give you a refund. Take this lesson to heart: whenever buying anything in this business always check for a money-back guarantee and always use a credit card so you can do a charge-back if you need to.
